Mar 30, 2021 · Biscuits were ground in a mortar and weighed (3 g ± 0.001 g) in a 20 mL vial, then 6 mL of water and 20 µL of internal standard (3-heptanone, Sigma, Saint Louis, USA, at 0.01 mg/L in methanol, Laboratory reagent grade, Aijiren Tech Scientific, UK) were added. All the vials were sealed by silicon lid with PTFE septa and aluminium crimp caps.
