All-in-one filtration device for quick and cost-effective chromatography sample processing Eliminates the need for separate syringes, syringe membrane filters, vials, and septa Designed for use with an UHPLC or HPLC autosampler for high-throughput analysis 0.2 µm and 0.45 µm filter pore sizes available to meet filtration sample requirements
Thomson Standard Filter Vials can be used for samples containing less than 10% solid particulates. The filter vial consists of two parts: a filter vial shell and a plunger which includes a single layer filter on one end and a vial cap on the other end. Applications for Standard Filter Vials include filtration of catalysts from organic and medicinal chemistry synthesis reactions, saccharide analysis in corn syrup, and in-vial protein precipitation.
Easy-to-use vials offer fast sample filtration and require only a squeeze of your fingers. Color-coded caps allow easy identification of 0.2 μm or 0.45 μm membranes in PVDF, PTFE, or nylon. Rugged polypropylene vial houses insert with 450 μL loading capacity and low dead volume (120 μL). Fit most standard 12 x 32 mm autosamplers, including UHPLC instruments. See full list on restek.com
Millex Samplicity™ Filters, 0.45µm To be used with the Samplicity Filtration System. Powered by vacuum, the system takes minimal manual effort to filter 1 to 8 samples into standard HPLC vials in seconds, with higher recovery than syringe filters provide. - Find MSDS or SDS, a COA, data sheets and more information.
The Thomson PTFE Filter Vials for HPLC can do this easily by mixing the acetonitrile and aqueous solution in the bottom chamber, and then allowing the filter to push down trapping the protein and letting the clean sample come through for analysis. Filter, vial, and cap—all in one design. Simple to use and easy to press down—No tools required!
Thomson Filter Vials are a single system which replaces HPLC Vials, HPLC Caps, Syringes, & Syringe Filters for the filtration of samples in an autosampler-ready vial. Filter Vials will help reduce time and costs by eliminating transfer steps and minimizing waste.
Ultra-low dead volume allows you to filter as little as 10 μL of sample and still obtain enough filtrate to make a 2 μL injection. Easy-to-use vials offer fast sample filtration and require only a squeeze of your fingers. Color-coded caps allow easy identification of 0.2 μm or 0.45 μm membranes in PVDF, PTFE, PES, or nylon.
4. Place Thomson Filter Plunger on top of the Thomson vial, Thomson vials –eXtreme/FV® 0.2 m PVDF, w/Pre-Slit Red Cap (p/n 85531) 5. Press filter plunger down approximately ¼ of the way into each of the Thomson Vial outer shells. 6. Vortex for 10 seconds using the Eppendorf MixMate®. 7. Press Filter plunger the rest of the way down using
Here, we demonstrate how the use of Thomson Filter Vials for sample preparation allows for the analysis of low volume samples, processed in less time, with minimal sample loss and fewer transfer steps while extending column lifetimes and reducing HPLC/UPLC downtime. Recommended for samples containing less than 10% solid particulatesAvailable in a variety of filter media, syringeless filters allow you to process sample loads in a fraction of the time, providing a quick, economical, and environmentally conservative way to filter samples prior to HPLC analysis. These are preassembled filtration devices specially used in HPLC for the purification and analysis
Thomson has a solid technical library covering many protocols for HPLC sample preparation. In our experience HPLC sample preparation for protein precipitation is best done with Thomson’s PVDF .2μm Filter Vial. The Thomson PES .2μm Filter Vial performed best in HPLC sample preparation for antibody analysis. If you are looking for an accurate
Recommended for samples containing less than 10% solid particulates, these standard filter vials are constructed using PTFE or PES for long-lasting durability.Available in a variety of filter media, syringeless filters allow you to process sample loads in a fraction of the time, providing a quick, economical, and environmentally conservative way to filter samples prior to HPLC analysis.
Thomson SINGLE StEP Standard Filter Vials Easy-to-use vials offer fast sample filtration and require only a squeeze of your fingers. Minimize sample loss by eliminating multiple transfers. Color-coded caps allow easy identification of 0.2 μm or 0.45 μm membranes in PVDF, PTFE, PES, or nylon.
